Q: What is Model United Nations?
Model UN is a simulation of how the United Nations conducts business. In the course you will be trained on how to be a delegate in the United Nations and learn it's inner workings.

Q: Do I have to have previous knowledge or experience with Model UN?
No, our class is open to students of every major. Everyone has to learn somewhere! We encourage you to step out of your box and dip your toes into the world of International Diplomacy.

Q: What is the workload for the class?
Besides traditional class time, there is a lab held once a week. During lab time students have the ability to conduct all necessary research and assignments for the course if they utilize their time wisely.

Q: How much does the class cost?
Along with tuition, there is an additional lab fee that funds students attending the conference. The club does fundraising to cover any additional costs of travel. Students are only responsible for feeding themselves while away and transporting themselves to and from the airport/train station.

Q: Is there a Dress Code?
In class students may wear whatever they please, with an exception on the day when the student gives a formal speech. At the conference students must be in Western Business Attire at all times. During down time while away there is no dress code. We have many resources to help students acquire business clothing.
